The aftermath.
This massive flooding in Manila has never happened before - not at this magnitude. Many of those people living in these areas have never experienced such floods previously despite the heavy rains.
I have seen images of flash floods too in other countries. Does that mean that the Earth is in imminent danger? Then we are in imminent danger! Our Earth is dying, To be more specific, it is being killed, done to death by us. Killed by the pursuit of money. We inherited the Earth, but the earth is dying on us.
I wouldn't be surprise if an ecological apocalypse loom in the future. Or is there still a solution to our problem? Can we possibly know what lies ahead?
I think we owe it to ourselves to find out...

OMG, I hope Cedric is well. XXX
I hope that you will stay safe at home.
Sending prayers for all those hurt by the storm. I can't believe the pictures-what a dangerous mess!
Actually Odette, dispite what so called "experts" and scam artits like Al Gore say, just as many experts are saying this is a natural phase. The earth is going through changes that man can't start or stop.
Either way, I'm sure Cedric found his way out of the area.
Email me when Cedric checks in Odette. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 good reasons he may not be able to. Logistical as in he can't reach a phone or his is dead. Technical as in all the towers are out or phone lines are down. Or he could be so caught up in helping others he has not been able to get a working means of communication. I have seen myself in the 3rd situation more often then I would like to admit.
Odette, I am so sorry to hear about what has happened where you are! I am praying for you, your son, as well as all who live there!
O.M.g I just checked in and read this. Sending prayers and thoughts your way hun xoxoox
Just heard the news that your son is safe - so pleased for you

Hi Dette! Whatta rain!!! The greenhouse effect must have bore a large hole in the sky!
These pics reached us here also in the Middle East. Really bad!! Yesterday, POLO (Phil. Overseas Labor Office) sent an advisory appealing to all Filipinos to donate generously for the flood victims. A relief center will be set up in our area where we could deliver our used clothes and goods for pick-up. Cedric is old enough to figure out things for himself, don't worry my friend.
upsetting pictures.
Pleased Cedric is fine! xoxo
Thank you everyone for your prayer. Cedric is home now. The school did not allow any student to leave the campus unless a parent fetch them. School officials could not call us though because their phone lines are down. So they let the student sleep in the school and provided them meals.
Just so you would know, even my son school was flooded. They were all staying on the 3rd floor. But everyone were safe.
xoxoxoxo
I enjoy reading your blog but these flood are terrible. I hope you stay safe.

Hi Odette, I stopped in to check on Cedric, what a great school he goes to. That's the safest place for the students. Hang in there, I'm praying that the next storm will be a whimper.
Hugs, Mimi
